Lymphocyte count indicates the prognosis of patients with renal cell carcinoma

The level of lymphocytes, a type of white blood cells is a possible prognostic indicator considered by Saroha, Tahseen Al-Saleem, MD, a pathologist at Fox Chase, and colleagues. Patients with renal cell carcinoma generally have a worse prognosis if they have a weakened immune system, which is indicated by the low level of lymphocytes.
